The highly resistant, transparent dome conceals top quality engineering: Siedle uses exclusively high-grade adjustable colour cameras. Integrated infrared lighting provides the ideal backlight for clear, focused pictures – while remaining undetectable from the outside. The day/night switchover function changes in the darkness to the true monochrome mode, enhancing light sensitivity to a degree that generally no additional lighting is required. The Siedle camera picture quality is so high that it can even be used jointly with specialized surveillance cameras at a single monitor.

… vertically arranged to include the fingerprint reader: The camera fits harmoniously into every configuration of the system components. The striking appearance is all part and parcel of the security concept; even the presence of video surveillance technology can be a deterrent.
Even in a surface-mounted version, Siedle Vario offers a compact, slimline appearance. The housing height is 37 millimetres. The door station appears even more slender in the flush-mounted version: Here, the housing projects just 15 millimetres above the wall.
